Forms of Government
       The Choice of the People
on the net at: http://www.hisholychurch.net/news/forms.asp

There is a difference between a citizen entitled and a citizen responsible. The
former may be a citizen of the Democracy such as the United States which is
within a Republic that existed prior to its creation by the Constitution of and
for the United States. The latter citizen is a free Man under God living
responsibly within his family, giving honor to his Father and Mother who are
also free. By one definition he is not a citizen of the United States but may
be considered a citizen of the united States.1

The United States is not a republic but a democracy within a republic.

April 3, 1918, an American creed was read in Congress beginning with the words,
"I believe in the United States of America as a government... whose just powers
are derived from the consent of the governed: a democracy in a republic."

Yes, the United States was supposedly created to guarantee a republican form of
government, but it is actually an indirect democracy with constitutional
limitations. I know many will disagree with this but that may simply be because
of the variety of definitions available for a republic.

How many governments claim to be republics? The Soviets did, China, Turkey and
of course the United States... the list goes on but are they all republics?

If you are a member of a democracy you are a citizen member entitled to the
benefits of the Benefactor of that government who is the Father of that nation.
The religion and creed of governments have their own ministers and faithful who
serve the people and are given allegiance.

God has His kingdom which has its own religion and its own faithful and creed.
Both may exist within the original republic that existed before the
constitution of the US and before the American so called revolution.

In many government forms the sacrifices of the people are compelled and are
called contributions or taxes. They are often in the form of an excise and are
usurious in nature. They have been called tribute throughout history.

"Excise (tribute), in its origin, is the patrimonial right of emperors and
kings."

We are told by the Bible if not by common sense the slothful shall be under
tribute. The covetous shall be made merchandise and the dog shall return to his
vomit.
Has this happened again?

Another form of government, the kingdom of God, composed of the followers of
Christ, is much different with many of the same duties. They have contributions
called free will offerings and could sometimes be called a tithing. A tithing
was never ten percent but was the share that one tenth of the congregation of
the people chose to contribute. A congregation was composed of ten families
according to the old testament where the tithing appears.

In both governments the offerings are burnt offerings in one sense but in the
former the offering creates an entitlement in the latter the gift only offers
the opportunity of hope. Both depend on the faith of the contributor.

The former has faith in force and power and the latter has faith in love as
power. Both depend on sacrifice but one gives the choice the other requires
submission.

Since the US has its gods and its Appointer of gods2 those who have members
entitled may pray to those gods for a redress of grievances.

Those who seek the kingdom of The God of Heaven and wish that kingdom to also
be on earth must pray only to the Father in Heaven and not the Father in
Washington or Moscow or Bejing. That kingdom of God preached by Christ was and
is not "of the world"3 of the US, for the US is a Roman world the same as the
world of Pilate was not the "world"4 of Jesus Christ.

Everyone should pay their contribution to their government. In God's government
you are given the option of withholding your contribution or choosing a
different minister to contribute to. In the world you do not have the luxury of
free choice in the matter of contributions. Once you are a member you are a
part of the whole body. Those systems have mixed the left hand of government
with the right.

You all have the choice of living under the covering of Caesar and Rome or
under the covering of Christ and his kingdom.
